Public teardowns answer: what can I learn before running my own analysis? The public teardown library is free to browse without a card. It is the fastest way to understand what a finished videngineer report looks like and to collect references before spending credits or running your own source.

What is public

Public teardowns show the report layers Mark has made available for research and discovery. You can read the format call, logline, script structure, cuts, blueprint, sound, cast/world, and recipe surfaces when they are part of that teardown. Live example: Coinbase - “Break The Cycle” teardown.

Filters and category pages

Use filters to narrow by format, category, and style. Category pages live at:
https://videngineer.com/teardowns/<category>/
Use category permalinks when you want to share a research silo with a teammate or return to a set later.

Run this on your video

Public teardown pages can point you back into your own analysis flow. Use this when a public example shows the kind of report you want, but you need the same breakdown for your product, category, or client source.

Download and sign-in gates

Some actions, especially downloads, saving to Library, paid assets, and running your own teardown, require sign-in or a paid plan. Browsing public teardowns is free; production assets and private research live behind the relevant plan and credit gates.
