Submit a video answers: what can I run through videngineer, and what happens after I click Analyze? Use this page when you are starting a new teardown from your own source. If you only want to study existing examples, start with the Public teardowns library.

Supported sources

videngineer accepts:
  • YouTube
  • TikTok
  • X
  • Instagram
  • Direct file upload
Use a public link when the post is available without a private login. Use upload when you have the source file locally, the post is private to you, or the platform blocks a clean pull.
Only submit videos you have the right to study. videngineer is for research, reference, and production planning; it is not a license to reuse someone else’s footage, brand, or protected creative.

Submit flow

1

Open New analysis

Sign in and click + New analysis from the app.
2

Add the source

Paste a supported link or choose a file upload. Give the teardown a name you will recognize later.
3

Choose available options

Your plan controls which options appear. Power and Team have queue and batch workflows; 4K behavior depends on plan and source quality.
4

Analyze

The job enters your analysis queue and shows progress. Finished reports stay available from the analyses list and Library.

Where finished teardowns live

After a teardown finishes, you can open it from the analyses list, star it into Library, or share it when your plan and permissions allow. The app also shows useful chips such as source quality, 4K, winner, and team context when those apply.

Queue & batch

Batch imports, cancel behavior, and Power/Team gates.

4K & source quality

Source-quality badges, 4K masters, and low-quality troubleshooting.

Your Library

Save finished teardowns, media, and assets.

Plans & credits

Which plans can run teardowns and which actions use credits.
